Hi, I’m Željka and This is Our Tale

After 20 years in corporate tourism, we realized that the fast-paced, high-stress lifestyle wasn’t for us.

We craved something different. Something real.

When we found this land, it was nothing but ruins and overgrown thicket.

But something about it felt right… Calm, grounding, full of possibility.

For two years, we poured our hearts into restoring it, creating a retreat where every detail is designed for your comfort, connection, and tranquility.

We loved the creation process. And now, we get to share it with you.

My husband is the hands behind every wall, every piece of furniture.

A true craftsman, he’s built this place from the ground up.

I, on the other hand, bring the ideas to life—blending my love for sustainable tourism, yoga, and local culture into every experience we offer.

Together, we’ve created a space where you can slow down, breathe, and reconnect—with nature, with others, and most importantly, with yourself.

We invite you to step away from the noise of everyday life and experience the peace, beauty, and magic of this place we call home.

There’s an old saying: “If you’re not part of the solution, you’re part of the problem.”

Why We Created Dryad Arbor?

We chose to focus on our little piece of the world.

Turning it from just another spot on the map into a sanctuary for those seeking peace, inspiration, and connection.

We can’t change the whole world, but here, in this little corner, we can offer a space to slow down, breathe, and just be.

A place for learning, healing, and growing—within nature and within yourself.
